Project Goal:     The goal of this project is for you, the student, to understand how technology has influenced history. You will also get and understanding of the role of society in the development and use of technology by preparing a timeline of a technological device.

Rational:              As current and future consumers of goods, you will need an understanding of how/why products exist and what changes have occurred to increase their benefits to the customer over time. As an informed consumer you have the tools to be able to purchase items that maximize your money and best serve your needs.

Guidelines and Requirements

1.)    You will prepare your own timeline with 5 entries on the evolution of the product you and your partner have chosen.

2.)    You will work with your partner to create proper sequence of events.

a.      10 total entries (5 each page)in sequential order (one partner with past, one partner with current)

b.      5 DIFFERENT entries on each timeline (can not be the same as partner). Each individual timeline must have 5 entries in sequential order, but does not have to follow partners order.

3.)    Change format of project to LANDSCAPE

4.)    Use WordArt to create a centered title

5.)    Insert “by” line under title

6.)    Insert line to serve as the “time line”

7.)    Insert 5 spaced lines according to sequence of events

8.)    Insert 5 text boxes with proper information on changes that occurred to your product

9.)    Insert 5 pictures corresponding to with the text in sequential order
