“I” will be changed to a failure, unless work required is “made up” within two weeks of issued quarterly reports.  If incomplete work is never completed, student will not receive credit for course.

Report cards will be issued to students at the end of each nine-week period.  Reports are kept by students.

Students in grades nine through eleven must be enrolled for a minimum of 8 credits.  Students in twelfth grade who are on track to graduate are permitted, with parental permission, to enroll in only two blocks each school day.  These blocks must be consecutive as students are not permit to come and go during the school day.

FINAL  GRADES  ARE  DETERMINED  AS  FOLLOWS:

The Final Course Average will be determined as follows:

    One credit course (2 marking periods):  [(9-week grades x 2) + final exam grade]/ 9 = Final Average
    Half credit course (1 marking period): [(9-week grades x 4) + final exam grade]/ 9 = Final Average

The final average will be reflected as a letter grade per the chart above.  Averaging and assigning grades is the responsibility of the teacher.
